Story
The Air Ambulance NI (AANI) is a charity in Northern Ireland, who provide the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for our country.
We all know of someone who has had a family member, friend or acquaintance who has needed the HEMS team at some point in their lives. On average, 2 people per day find themselves in need of their aid. These are usually the most traumatic and life threatening incidents, and a lot are road traffic accidents. Hannah Babe was one of them - watch her story here.
What most people don’t realise is that The Air Ambulance NI relies entirely on public support to keep their helicopters in the air and operational. On Thursday 12th of September, I will be taking part in the Air Ambulance 5K Runway Run at Belfast City Airport in support of this vital charity.
If you are able to donate, I would appreciate your support in reaching my goal of £100! Thanks everyone 😊
