GOOD GRIEF YORKSHIRE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE

For this challenge I'll be joining a number of other bereaved parents and siblings as we trek the 24 miles of the Yorkshire Three Peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough) in total of 1585m (5200ft) of climbing and in under 12 hours.
It is our collective way of honouring our children, all of whom have died too soon. It’s also about coming together in a joint enterprise to share our grief in an active way – to walk, talk and find a renewed confidence in doing something really physical, quite demanding but also inspiring.
My 19 year old daughter Ella, died suddenly and unexpectedly from a blood clot on the brain caused by Covid in 2022. She had no underlying health issues. When you are thrown into such an immense tsunami of trauma and grief as a family, it's hard to get up in the morning and even harder to find a way forward. With the help of The Good Grief Project (TGGP) I and many others are finding that way.
I am hoping to raise £1000 for TGGP, and for the first £500, my husband and myself will match this for The Ella Philp Fund, which is part of The Helen Foundation.
The day I am starting this fundraising (10/04/2025), would have been Ella's 23rd birthday.
Thank you so much.
