We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

Rather unexpectedly and suddenly lost my awesome Dad in February 2021 to a tumour in his brain stem which was undetected with no signs or symptoms. My Dad was very active and cycling was one of his passions since a young lad. This trip is even more special to me as Mum & Dads last holiday in Jan 2020 was travelling this route and I will be cycling along seeing the same sights. This is an endurance challenge on tricky terrain during the hot and humid season!

In honour and memory of my Dad, and all those who have lost loved ones or battling against this cruel disease, I will pedal power 550km from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to Angkor Wat in Cambodia over 8 days.

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
