September update

I have set myself an ambitious challenge. Every single day, no matter the weather or mood, I will put on my running shoes and will tackle a run whether home or abroad. Over the last months I have raised over £14,405 and run 1000Km in every weather condition imaginable, in some stunning surrounding and had the support of friends & family running with me.

This month we have a busy schedule with GLEE Trade Show, customer visits and the 10KM London Vitality run which all my family are running with me!!! Thank you to Ayletts Nursery & Fallen Fruits for sponsoring me this month.

Greenfingers is a national charity dedicated to supporting life-limited children and their families who spend time in hospices around the UK and for many years now I have tried to raise donations for the charity. The charity is committed to creating, beautiful, well-designed outdoor spaces for children to enjoy with family, friends and siblings, whether through play and fun, or therapeutic rest and relaxation. To date, Greenfingers Charity has created over 60 inspiring gardens in children’s hospices around the country and has a further waiting list of hospices that need help.

To keep morale high and to ensure that I keep putting one foot in front of the other, 12 garden centres having & suppliers in the industry have kindly sponsored me each month, with St Peter’s Garden Centre having kickstarted proceedings in January. I have run over 1000 km with Hydria, Scotsdales, Meadowview, British Garden Centre Group, Woodlodge, Ruxley Manor & Cavendish Main, Perrywood Garden Centre & Deo Pak, Klondyke, Mazario, Bents, Primeur, Yorkshire GC & Mazeliving wearing company T-Shirts together with my Greenfingers Shirt. I have also completed a few official 10k runs and the annual Greenfingers 20 mile walk in March with a the 366 Team made up of friends & family. Without this support this challenge would be far more difficult.

I am looking forward to longer and sunnier days ahead and seeing more of our beautiful countryside as I travel around with work and run each day.
