This is our mad challenge for 2024 and we have been practising in a lake (freezing) on the farm, local rivers and in the sea around Jersey. But it is a long time since we have swum 3 km so we need all the support we can get to help us through the jelly fish and other sea life we will encounter. Any support, however small, would be much appreciated. We are swimming without a wetsuit and will be looking forward to the after party in Corfu that evening (Posiedon allowing).!

Albania Overboard is a 3 km charity sea swim on Saturday 14th September 2024, coast to coast, from Albania to Corfu raising money for the Ionian Environment Foundation.. The funds raised by the swim will turbocharge the actions of the charity’s marine conservation projects. Four meaningful and effective projects are being championed by this swim - from monitoring dolphins, monkseals and Posidonia meadows mapping to delivering sustainable sailing guides to tourists and charter companies. The projects all promote the long-term viability and health of the beautiful Ionian Sea through which we will swim.
