Story

Me and Thea will be taking on the “5mile wee wander” any donations and shares would be greatly appreciated!💚

Thea is a true warrior, facing challenges with a smile that lights up every room. Born with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (lack of oxygen and blood flow to the brain) that resulted in severe brain damage, Thea has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, drug resistant epilepsy, and CVI. Despite the odds, she continues to fight and make progress, currently working on crawling and standing to further improve mobility. family&friends are fundraising through Just4Children by taking on the kilt walk to help provide the best possible care for Thea, aiming to raise funds for therapy and equipment needs. Their dream is to return to smiletherapy in Canada where she thrived and underwent intensive therapy. The upcoming Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2024 presents an opportunity to support this cause. With a target amount of £3,000, every contribution will make a meaningful difference in Theas' journey towards a brighter future.
