This year I have the privilege of working at Adventure Plus as an intern activities instructor. I have decided to take on the A+ Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on 31st May 2025, walking 38.6km and ascending 1585m in 12 hours. This will be a physical challenge for me because it is the furthest I have ever aimed to walk within this time. I'm looking forward to pushing myself... and spending time in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales doing something for an important cause.

A+ has been a place of much growth and joy for me over the last 18 months- I loved my gap year here so much that I decided to stay for a second year. I have been encouraged in my own faith, and loved the opportunities I have had to share the love of Jesus with the groups we work with. And I have just had a lot of good fun going to beautiful places and doing exciting things outdoors! Skiing, walking expeditions, mountain biking, and canoeing have been particular highlights for me.

A+ helps children and young people reach their potential and make positive life choices, whilst giving them a great time in the great outdoors in the broader context of Christian faith. All money raised will be match-funded by generous donors meaning anything you give will be worth double! The funds will go towards digging a 4-acre lake which is a key step towards enabling us to reach even more young people with exciting water-sports activities all year round, and wildlife education.
