If you know me, you probably know that I'm a bit of a competitive person. This year, I'm paddling on the Team M&T Bank dragon boat in support of our nonprofit partner, My Sister's Place Women's Center. Our team has been out on the water training hard for weeks and our goal is to win first place. But another way that we hope to "win" is through our support of My Sister's Place. 2023 will commemorate the 12th biennial Catholic Charities Dragon Boat Races--a truly special event that combines athleticism and competition with fundraising and awareness of Catholic Charities. Since 1998, over 50 companies, non-profits and schools have partnered with us to raise over $5 million dollars in support of our mission – to love, serve and teach, work for justice, and to improve the lives of Marylanders in need.
