Sadly, cancer touch us all in some way or another.

After being diagnosed with Cervical Cancer in June 2022, was the scariest thing ever!! My world fell apart. Having a Radical Hysterectomy in August. Followed by rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and brachytherapy. I very much want to give something back to The Beatson. Attending the Beatson was a real eye opener. The staff were OUTSTANDING, Absolute ANGELS ❣️ Getting through the most difficult days was tough, they helped me in more ways than you can imagine. Went above and beyond to get me through that day. Doing this walk will never be enough to give back to them what they deserve. It’s a start! It will be a challenge for me as I still experience side effects of treatment, however I WILL COMPLETE IT even if on my knees….
