Colleagues from Woking & Sam Beare Hospice are taking on the Thames Path Challenge and walking up to 100k. All of the money raised will fund palliative and end of life care to patients with life limiting conditions living in North West Surrey.

Story

I joined the Woking and Sam Beare Hospice in October 2023. It’s been life changing to work with such a fantastic team and bring comfort and support to those requiring supportive, palliative and end of life care. In order to continue such valuable work, funds are needed. The hospice is a registered charity and although we receive some funding, we are reliant on the support of our local community to enable us to continue to provide this care.

I have decided to join some of my work colleagues to raise money for this worthwhile charity by participating in a 100km continuous walk over a 24 hour period, from London to Henley along the Thames.

Please consider supporting me by donating - no matter how big or small. It will make a big difference to lives of our patients and their families. Thank you 💙
