Next month I shall be joining the annual fund raising event of my favourite charity, The Connection at St Martin in the Fields. Donations really can change lives and make a huge difference to those that they support enabling them to help people move off the streets in London to a place that they can call home. I have pledged to raise at least £1000 by taking part in their 74 mile walk which follows the Pilgrims Way from London to Canterbury over the second May bank holiday weekend.
