Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Rotary Club of High Wycombe is being represented by 3 Rotarians who have "volunteered" to abseil the 100 metres down Spinnaker Tower at 11am on Saturday 7th September.

This will be a personal challenge for all with an aim to raise much needed funds for local hospices, including South Bucks Hospice, Florence Nightingale and Speens 'Helping Hospices'

The Bereavement Listening Service of South Bucks Hospice support those left behind for an initial period of three months. They offer free, personal, and confidential telephone bereavement support to adults registered with a South Bucks GP who have lost a loved one to a prolonged, advanced, life-limiting illness. This has proved to be invaluable to the family of a close friend and dance partner of Chris who sadly lost their battle leaving behind their devastated husband and children.

All donations made are greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for supporting our 'adventure' and the amazing services that our local hospices provide.
