As one of the non-exec directors of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, I'm proud to be walking for wards to raise funds for the benefit of our staff and patients and visitors of East Sussex NHS - at Bexhill, Conquest, Eastbourne and Rye hospitals and at our Community Services all across the county.

Our charity uses the generous donations it receives to:

- help support patients in hardship,

- boost staff well-being,

- purchase non-medical items and specialist equipment,

- fund improvements in our hospital and clinic environments

- support research, and

- provide specialist training.
