This is by far the biggest swim race I've ever done and to say I'm nervous is an understatement. 10km is going to take a while! I've spent the last 4 months practicing, taking lessons and generally getting very cold and wet.

I was going to do this just as a personal challenge, but the school in Kenya is really struggling. With all the unrest and riots, tge site is no longer safe and we desperately need to pay for a safety fence.

The fence is going to cost around £7000 and we are desperately fundraising. £10 will pay for/sponsor one meter of fence. So while I'm struggling on my swim I'll remember my pain is nothing compared to what they go through on a daily basis.
