Story
Guess who just came home with the biggest smile on her face? My sister Amanda! She spent two unforgettable weeks at Camp Loyaltown, and the counselors didn’t want her to leave. It's a magical place where routine falls away, and she gets to choose what she wants to do, reconnect with friends, and truly be herself. Seeing her so happy and fulfilled is priceless.
Camp Loyaltown has been a part of Amanda’s life for over 30 years. She started going when she was just 13, and it has been a “looked-forward-to” experience for her and our family ever since. My parents were amazed that there was a place where Amanda could be safe, have the best time surrounded by nature, and grow more independent and confident. This camp has been a source of joy and support for Amanda and over 600 children and adults just like her for over 50 years!
That’s right – this year, Camp Loyaltown is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and we need your help. We are raising funds for needed capital improvements, including drilling a new well. Right now, Camp relies on a single well for all its water needs. If anything happens to it, the Camp would have to close. A new well would provide an entirely new water source and provide an essential back up for Camp's growing water needs.
Any gift is so appreciated, and it means the world to so many, including Amanda. Join me in supporting Camp Loyaltown in this special anniversary year. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much – here’s to the next 50!
With love and gratitude,
Karen Broderick Anci
