Two years ago, I started a life-changing journey to improve my physical and emotional well-being. I was completely unfit at the time, struggling even with short walks. I knew that I needed to change and thats when I decided to embrace hiking where I found the solace, inner peace and an appreciation for life around me.
Throughout my life, I have faced numerous obstacles. However, I refused to let these hardships define me. Recognizing that there are always others who have faced and overcome even greater challenges, I adopted a mindset of gratitude and a desire to uplift and help those who are less fortunate.
As I continue down this transformative path, I find immense joy and a newfound appreciation for the beauty that surrounds me. Each step I take is a testament to the resilience and untapped potential within us all. Through sharing my journey, my hope is to inspire others who may feel unfit or overwhelmed by life's challenges to discover their inner strength and embrace their own transformative paths. Together, let us overcome obstacles, support one another, and create a ripple effect of positive change.
Action for Humanity (AFH) has been supporting the school in Mahmoudli camp since 2018, providing more than 700 students yearly with education and protection. These Students are aged between 6 - 12 with current support at 6th grade, leading to the interruption of their learning due to a lack of higher education. The local community in the camp are heavily advocating for the continuation of the school to grant a chance for their children to obtain their universal right to proper education.
AFH are trying to reach out to people across the globe to help us raise funds that will allow us to secure proper education for these children, greatly reducing negative coping mechanisms, improving children’s chance to get access to higher education, and ensuring psychosocial well-being as a result of the psychosocial support (PSS) components provided by the project.
The proposed project will support 500 children, males and females, who are internally displaced children in Mahmoudli camp with intermediate level education. 2% of the students will be PWD (People with Disability). This programme will assist children who are not attending school due to the unavailability of secondary level education.
