Story

In April I’m going to be challenging myself to run my first ever marathon. As many of you know, I am not an athletic person and a 5k is a serious struggle. I’m doing this to raise money and give a little something back for the treatment and care my amazing partner is currently receiving.

Meg is currently undergoing treatment at The Christie for ALL Leukaemia. Meg was diagnosed 2 weeks after we got engaged in Paris; something that neither of us expecting to happen. To me, Leukaemia is something that children go through but somehow Meg has fallen into the very small bracket of young adults that are affected by this. We have a long road of treatment and recovery ahead of us, but one day at a time we will beat this.

The Christie is a hospital that is dedicated to the upmost care and treatment of cancer. It is a charity and is funded by donations. By doing little bits to help out we can keep places like this running and able to continue giving people the best treatment possible

Meg you are the strongest person I know, I love you more than anything and your going to kick cancer in the bum.

** My impulsive brain decided to run the half marathon too x
