I'm joining the Amos Road Club for a 1-day coast to coast ride (Tynemouth to Whitehaven) to raise money for their projects in Palestine, particularly for the Gaza Sunbirds para-cycling team who are currently delivering aid in Gaza, and for Amos' home rebuilding programme in the West Bank.

My family and I have been supporters of Amos for many years. While the scale of the need they're now helping respond to is tragic, we've been inspired by the way they've risen to that and want to do what we can to support.

I cycle a lot, but this ride is likely to be both my longest so far, and the most climbing in a day. It'll definitely be a challenge!
