Story
On 25th May I will be setting off at first light to trek for 24 hours, non-stop with a target of reaching 100 miles. My route will start in Faversham and head due south along the Pilgrims Way and the North Downs Way to Sandgate near Folkestone. My route will then hug the coast north, taking in Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Ramsgate, Margate, Herne Bay and Whitstable finishing back at Faversham, early on the morning of the 26th May.
Young Lives vs Cancer is a fantastic Charity and one that I have personal reasons for supporting.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, they help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. They'll face it all together – but they can’t do it without you.
