Following the devastating loss of my Mum to Breast Cancer on the 15th March 2023, and also 3 Gallagher work colleagues from the Leicester Office who lost their lives far too soon, Gareth Parry-Jones 24/02/2023, Simon King 28/01/2022 and Raj Singh 16/03/2023, I decided it was time for me to take on the challenge of a lifetime in all their memory and run the 2024 London Marathon.

Those who know me will know that just after receiving confirmation of my place through LOROS, I suffered a knee injury which stopped me from running for 5 months. With the help of a proactive consultant and physio, I am now back out running. Whilst this was not the best start to training and is only going to make the challenge harder, I am determined to complete the 2024 London Marathon in their memory.
