We're a team of clinicians from Royal Primary Care in Chesterfield, who are aiming to walk, bike and row our way around the Lake District on September 7th 2024, all in aid of this amazing charity.

You've probably gathered that we like a cake or two, but as we're in training mode, we'll just have to dream!

So while we're munching our way through our training (we wish), here's some information about the charity we're doing it for.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years they've helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But they urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and they simply can’t do it without you.
