Story
I’m walking with a group of friends to raise money for the hospice who have given exceptional care to someone very close to us who recently passed at a very young age. The hospice are in need of financial support in order to continue this level of quality care for all who need it now and in the future. Thank you 🙏
The Hospice's dedicated team of staff and healthcare professionals aim to meet the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those with a life-limiting illness, and help to maintain their dignity. They provide specialist palliative care for people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses, at all stages of their illness.
The Hospice is not just focused on the patients. They recognise that its also a difficult time for relatives, carers and friends and provide support for them too.
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs over £5.2million to run each year with just 17% of the funding we receive coming from statutory sources. The remaining 83% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of our very generous local community in Cheshire.
