At the end of 2024, Yolanda lost her mum due to health issues and complications due to cancer. In order for something positive to come out of this we are forming a team of two to take on the infamous Race the Sun Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) for children's charity Action Medical Research that Yolanda’s mum would have approved.

This will be Yolanda’s first ever adventure of this type and has never done cycling of this distance before let alone coupled with a 9 mile hike up Pen-y-fan and 2 mile kayak.

In June we will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a challenging course in a race against the sun.

We will be racing in aid of children's charity, Action Medical Research. They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

By supporting us you will be helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
