Story
We will be trekking the Great Wall of China in May 2025 in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice.
This huge challenge across one of the Great Wonders of the World will visit remote sections, from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and Simatai. The team will be trekking the wall itself, but also hiking through the wild and remote landscapes of rural China.
Julie works at the Birmingham hospice as a support worker in play and activity, arranging fun activities, days out, events in the hospice, swimming with the children, running Stay & Play sessions with families and creates special memories.
Sarah is now one of our lovely befriending volunteers in the hospice and works full time as a PA in Neurology at Solihull hospital for the NHS.
Please support our challenge by donating to our page and helping to raise funds for local life limited and life threatened children, and their families.
