Story

Josiah and Esther both train with Kirkintilloch and Kilsyth Amateur Swim Club. They inspired me to get back in the pool. We're going to do this challenge together! They know that I've had treatment for cancer (twice) in the past. We want to make sure the research into treatment and cures continues.

Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2024 - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.

Between 19th April and 5th May, we 're going to swim as many lengths as possible at Kirki Leisure Centre. 16 days (with the rest of life to fit in!) ... can we make 500 lengths? Can we raise £500? You can help answer the second question. We'll do our best with the first.
