I have now done the Leap of Love for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, which operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby.

I have been a Bereavement midwife in Bradford for 18 years looking after families who have been through the loss of a baby and Sands have always been there for myself and the families.

So decided to challenge myself as it is also my 60th in September, and to celebrate my life coping with nearly 50 years of living with Type 1 diabetes
