Hello - Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

In June 2024, I am running 100 miles in 24 hours raising money for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal and I'd be hugely grateful for your support. The Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal charity funds life-saving pioneering, specialist medical equipment to help save the lives of babies and children at the children’s hospital in Bristol; alongside creative programmes to enhance a child’s stay at the hospital.

My youngest daughter Mabel was born with a particularly rare congenital heart defect called scimitar syndrome. At 6 years old, Mabel underwent open heart surgery at Bristol Children's Hospital. The treatment, care, support and reassurance Mabel received from healthcare staff there, domestics through to consultants, was truly wonderful. Mabel is 15 years old now and flourishing; living a full meaningful life. I will always be eternally grateful to the hospital and all it's staff.

I am running the 100 miles at the Endure24 Reading - Trail running event. The challenge is self funded - It's simply me trying to help and do my own little bit.
