Story

Lee's Story:

Lee Jamieson, Age 12

Amazing, kind, caring, footballer, go-kart racing driver - fit, fun, friendly, brave, cheeky, crazy, sociable, technical, clever, inspiring – these are just some of the words which describe Lee, but there is one word that goes beyond all ~ that word is Loved.

Lee was diagnosed with leukaemia in Nov 2013

Lee should have got better.

He should have gone to high school with his pals.

He was 95% in the clear. But once this rare leukaemia has broken through the medicine Lee was receiving, there isn't anything yet that can stop it.

That's why All our funds raised now go to the Scientists working in a lab on Lee's case.

Professor Michelle West is funded by Blood Cancer UK to work on the Epstein Barr virus and it's link with Burkitt Lymphoma & other B Cell tumors

I'm doing this triathlon to support Lee's cause, driven by his amazing Mum Elizabeth Anne.

On Saturday 17th August I'll be:

Swimming 750m

Cycling 23km

Running 5km

I'll be joined by fellow Calderglen Harriers who are proudly supporting this amazing charity.
