Thank you so much for the sponsors and the support.

**** New Jump Date due to June’s Accident
20th April 2024 *******
Harrys’ Heroes
We have both come together to try and give back and thank Myton Hospice for the wonderful support they have given to both of us during some very difficult times. We hope to raise enough money for them to continue the wonderful and amazing work they do.
The Two of us are:-
June Treen at the grand age of 87 is jumping out of a plane in recognition of the support Myton are currently giving to her husband, Harry. This will be her second time jumping out of a plane in the last few years, a true inspiration to us all.
Julia Smylie who wants to raise money for the support given from Myton for her Grandad, Godfrey Wagg and her dear friend Harry Treen.
The story behind the jump
Julia is thanking Myton for the loving care they gave to her Grandad, Godfrey Wagg.
Julia's family struggled to get the support for end of life care and after a very emotional call to Amanda at Rugby Myton Hospice, she helped get everything in place. Myton helped support Godfrey and live his last few weeks with love and kindness. They also supported the family emotionally and nothing will ever thank them enough.
Julia wouldn’t have known about Myton’s support if her dear friend, June Treen hadn’t given her the number to contact them. June’s husband Harry Treen was at the time under the loving care of the dedicated team at the Coventry Myton Hospice Inpatient Unit and he continues to have their full support whilst he battles cancer.
Harry is 91 and has been fighting his illness for many years but the support of both Rugby and Coventry Myton Hospices has again been truly amazing and nothing will ever thank them enough.
A statement about Myton Hospice
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year we supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
