Story
I have taken up the challenge of cycling from London to Brighton to help raise funds for Blood Cancer UK.
This cause is close to my heart with my own history; having had successful treatment for Hodkin Lymphoma. My brother, Chris, is currently being treated for MDS and AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia). Chris was admitted to hospital in August '23 and has had extensive treatment including a stem cell transplant. His treatment has involved some amazing testing and research which has shown a rare genetic mutation, it just blows my mind how clever all these people are.
I would love to be able to raise funds for further research which may help Chris but will definitely help others in the future.
I would be so grateful if you could donate what you can, I will endeavour to do as many updates as possible.
Thank you!
Blood Cancer UK:
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
