Dear Friends, I am serving on the Valley of the Sun YMCA Board of Directors. This is an organization I feel very passionate about. As one of my responsibilities of serving on the board, I am raising funds for the YMCA’s 2023 Annual Campaign. I am reaching out to those whose values align with the Y’s mission of serving kids and families throughout the Phoenix metro area.

When I first became a member of the board I was surprised that the YMCA was much more than a gym, the Y offers programs such as leadership development to more then 300 students. There are educational support programs(GED), job training and life skills training for 600 young adults. Free swim lessons to over 2000 children every summer. In addition the Y is a safe place for children before and after school including meals for less privileged families.
