This year I am stepping right out of my comfort zone and into the world of ultra running!

This will be my second attempt at running Race to The Stones 100km ultra, previously not making the start line due to injury, and the event takes place on Saturday 13th July 2024 (just after my 50th birthday)!

It will be the most challenging thing I have EVER done and just as much a mental challenge as a physical one!

On Saturday 4th May, I will be dipping my toes in with the Run to The Sea Brighton 50km in preparation for the big one.. just 2 weeks after London marathon!

I have no idea how this is going to go or how hard it's going to feel, but I what I do know is that your donations are going to help get me through the tough parts (and I'm sure there will be quite a few.. especially during the 100k!).

I will be taking part in Race to The Stones with some wonderful people from the community I call my 'Mind family'. Having met as a result of fund-raising for Mind at London marathon 2019, we are today all close friends - supporting each other through the good and the bad times and at various running/cycling/swimming events.

Mind - the mental health charity offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf. It also works to raise public awareness and understanding of issues relating to mental health. They believe everyone with a mental health problem should have access to excellent care and services. Please help me fundraise to help make this happen.
