Fan Fundraiser for Joaquin Phoenix’s birthday. This year for Joaquin’s birthday we have set up a fundraising event for The North Carolina Environmental Justice Network. As Joaquin cares deeply for his and others voice of activism, we feel enlightened to choose NCEJN for this year’s fundraiser.

We are enlightened by the grassroots organization and their hard work into fighting against environmental racism by factory farms each and every day.

NCEJN’s vision and mission is to promote health and environmental equality for all people of North Carolina through community action for clean industry, safe workplaces and fair access to all human and natural resources. We seek to accomplish these goals through organizing, advocacy, research, and education based on principles of economic equity and democracy for all people.
