Hello and Happy Holidays!
Please join us once again in helping make the holidays a little brighter for the homeless pets at the Brooklyn Animal Care and Control Shelter as we do our annual shelter drive and matching drive. JPC will be matching all donations dollar for dollar up to $2500 and collecting in-kind donations that we will drop off at the shelter.
This year the homeless pets of New York City need your help more than ever. Sadly, many pets are being surrendered to shelters after having been adopted during the pandemic and many shelters are losing funding as donations have waned due to the strains of the economy, making it even more difficult to care for these animals.
The Brooklyn ACC takes in thousands of unwanted cats, dogs, and other animals every year, never turning any of them away and they are one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the country. Some of the most abused and neglected animals end up there through no fault of their own.
Over the years some of our most beloved buddies passed through the ACC at some point so we want to do what we can to help give back and make the animals there as comfortable as possible in what tends to be a very stressful environment for them. A lot of the animals there have never known the comfort and warmth of a loving home but we think they all deserve so much more!
From now until the end of 2022 we will be collecting donations to bring to the ACC. In an effort to make this drive as easy for everyone to contribute as possible all you have to do is leave the item(s) out for us and we’ll collect them from your house during a scheduled visit for your pet and deliver them to the shelter!
Thank you in advance for helping us help the animals once again this year! We appreciate your continued support during these trying times and hope that you and yours are staying safe and healthy this holiday season.
Best,
Jordan's Pet Care
