Story
This year I will be running the AJ Bell Great South Run, The worlds most famous 10-mile run for over 30 years.
I am running to raise money and awareness for 'Simon Say's Child Bereavement support' in memory of a great friend, family member and amazing father, Dean O'Shea.
Dean and Katie's two beautiful children Rudi and Raina receive support from this amazing charity and I really wanted to do something to support the charity in Deans memory.
'Simon Say's CBS' is a non profit charity that relies on volunteers and funding, Their aim is to support children and young people up to the age of 18 years old who has a significant person in their life who has died or dying. Overall it is estimated that 4370* children and young people (5-16 years) in Hampshire have been bereaved of a parent or sibling at some point in their childhood. The support 'Simon Say's CBS' offer is completely free, however they need to raise a minimum of £120,000 per year to maintain and enable their mission.
Anything you can donate to 'Simon Say's CBS' will really help them be able to continue the amazing work that they do supporting children and young people across Hampshire. Your support is massively appreciated.
In memory of Dean O'Shea
Thank you.
*** IMPORTANT INFO *** Due to the cancellation of the great south run this year, I have decided to do my own personal running event 'The Deano Tenno'.
