One More Step
After a close family friend having recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. I felt compelled to do something, those of you that know me, will know I am unfit, overweight and havent done half as much moving as I need to for too many years now. So running a marathon or something was off the cards. I settled for doing a walk, but I soon came to the conclusion that nobody would sponsor me to walk to the chippy and back. So on the 4/08/2023 I am attempting to walk the The Peddars Way and back. This trail will take me from Knettishal heath to Hunstanton and then back !!! I plan to do it in 3 days, stopping overnight in a local B&B or something at the end of days 1 and 2. By the end I will have completed 100 miles of walking. I should imagine I will be exhausted and in agony, but this will just be a fraction of the pain caused to the individuals, and the friends and families of those diagnosed with a brain Tumour. I trust that you will give what you can and support me both financially for this amazing charity but also morally as I start this mental journey.
I plan to give you all periodic updates on how the training etc is going on my Facebook and Instagram so if you're not there already feel free to pop over to one of the below links to laugh at a fat guy trying to walk 100 miles.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
