Cambridgeshire Police are running the Great Eastern Run 2024 to raise money for Peterborough Women's Aid.

Donate anything you can, no amount is too small.

I have only taken up running in the last couple of months and at the time of creating the page haven’t ran anything further than 10k so with this being over double that it will be a challenge for me especially with my upcoming operation in June which is likely to hinder progress nevertheless we will push on as soon as recovery is complete.

Also as it’s for a charity, just giving takes no fee so it will all go to women’s aid!

Examples of what your money will go towards...

£200 – pays for six counselling session for a woman in our refuge

£150 – pays for a cooker in a new house

£100 – pays for school uniforms for three children

£50 – pays for a family day out

£25 – pays for a Welcome Pack for women coming into our refuge

£10 – pays for a book and a teddy for a child coming into our refuge
