Story

Last year, my Grandad Fred lost his battle with Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. He was a great man who always put his family first, his journey was one of courage and resilience, and it deeply inspired me to take action. In his honour, I've decided to take on the challenge of a 5-day hike to Machu Picchu, one of the world's most breathtaking wonders.

I'm reaching out to you, for your support in raising funds for Alzheimer's UK, an organisation committed to researching and combating Alzheimer's disease. The funds we raise will contribute to vital research, support programs, and resources for those affected by this devastating condition.

Alzheimer's and vascular dementia not only affect individuals but also have a huge impact on their families and friends. By supporting this campaign, you're not only honouring the memory of my Grandad but also making a difference in the lives of countless others facing similar challenges.

Why Alzheimer's UK?-

Alzheimer's UK funds groundbreaking research, provides essential support services, and works tirelessly to raise awareness about dementia-related issues. Your contribution will directly help their efforts, bringing us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer's.

How You Can Help?-

Your support is crucial to the success of this campaign. Whether you can contribute financially or help spread the word, every bit makes a difference. Please consider making a donation to this JustGiving page, and share it with your friends, family, and colleagues.

Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. Let's turn our collective efforts into a beacon of hope for the future.

Thank you for joining me on this meaningful journey. Your support means the world to me and to all those who continue to fight against Alzheimer's.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Joseph.
