Hi everyone!

This year, I’m running the 2025 London Marathon in support of Leukaemia UK. I’m reaching out to you to ask for your help in making a real difference for people affected by leukaemia and other blood cancers.

The London Marathon is a challenge for me as in 2023 I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia, for (which I am thankfully treated for). I would like to give something back to Leukaemia UK who work tirelessly raising awareness and fundraising for better treatments and outcomes for everyone battling Leukaemia.

I am aware that without the research that goes into this life changing disease, life would possibly have a very different outcome.

So, raising awareness of the symptoms, benefits of speedy diagnosis and early treatment are vital.

Clinical trials and research are pivotal in determining how patients are treated. Without them, we would not receive the best treatments.

However, we need to do more, much more to understand Leukaemia to enable the best possible treatments.

I will need all the support as I’m not a long distance runner!
