Back in December 2021, Christmas was very different for our family, as my Mum underwent a second spinal surgery for Scoliosis. Her surgeons were amazing and dedicated to getting her back on her feet. The staff went above and beyond, bringing a hamper to the room on Christmas Eve.

I’ve wanted to participate in a fundraising event for the Royal Orthopaedic Charity for a while. Since finding enjoyment in running, the Birmingham Half Marathon felt like a perfect opportunity to give a little back. I hope to continue fundraising for this amazing charity in the future.
