Story
Every day at least 10 children are diagnosed with cancer across the UK, the equivalent of almost half the number children in a primary school class, and to this day cancer is still the biggest killer of children under the age of 15.
The Childhood Cancer Charity don't think this is how it should be.
They think every child should have a fighting chance of surviving childhood cancer; no matter what type they are diagnosed with.
And at they we want to make childhood cancer a thing of the past.
Research into the treatment and survival of cancer has made huge progress over the last few decades, but for many cancers, especially rarer types of childhood cancer there has been little, if any, change in their treatment or diagnosis.
The Childhood Cancer Charity aim to change this, by investing in holistic research for the cause, care and cure of all childhood cancers, especially the rarest, so that one day every child will survive childhood cancer.
