Story
In November 2022, my girlfriend of 6 years, Cora, was diagnosed with a very rare form of MS called Tumefactive MS. This causes tumour-like growths in the brain, but thankfully they are not cancerous.
Despite the physical and mental pain that comes with this life changing diagnosis, Cora has always been determined to continue her role in the NHS to help other people despite feeling the effects of MS every day. I greatly admire her for this.
The challenge of completing the marathon this year is nothing compared to the challenge that Cora and thousands of others face across the UK. I hope that raising money for the MS Society will support them in their goal to stop MS.
