Story
In November 2021, my wife Leah suffered an out of hospital cardiac arrest while sleeping. She was 29.
Paramedics arrived and were able to get a normal rhythm back to her heart.
The EMRTS were called and within 15 minutes the amazing doctors from the Wales Air Ambulance arrived and administered all the relevant care and medication she needed to stay alive.
Whilst saving Leah’s life, they also kept me updated to the progress of her health and the next steps of the process.
I have no doubt that their actions that night contributed to Leah being here today.
We are so lucky to have such an incredible lifeline. A team that attend incidents by road or air and do their best to save every life.
I can’t thank them enough for what they did on that night and will always be truly grateful.
