During Lockdown 2020 i received the worst news possible.

“Chrissy has committed suicide, you need to come home”

Nothing can prepare you! Literally nothing. I crumbled. What do I do? I need to hold it together for my Mum, Dad.. My sisters. I’m the big brother. My big sister isn’t here anymore.

Charities like SoBS are here to support you. This is a charity I’d like to fundraise for, being a Survivor of Bereavement by Suicide.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) is a national charity that provides support to people over the age of 18 impacted by suicide. The mission of SoBS is to provide free peer support to adults bereaved by suicide in a timely and open-ended manner and our vision is that no one bereaved by suicide has to face their loss alone.
