On July 13th 2023 we sadly lost our friend Max to the same type of brain tumour that also took his mum and gran from his family in 2009 and 2008. Almost one year on from his passing we’d like to celebrate Max’s life and love for football by bringing together many of his friends and ex teammates for a charity football match at Showpark, East Kilbride, 3pm kick off.

We are raising money for Kilbryde hospice who provided exceptional care for Max in his final months and gave a place for friends and family to spend quality time with him as well. The other charity we will be raising money for is Teenage Cancer Trust who provide an amazing service for young people in the Beatson, where Max spent time during his treatment, by means of a games room that helped keep Max and friends entertained for hours.
