This year marks the 10th Anniversary of my first Covered Bridges Half Marathon in 2014. It will be my ninth race as a fundraiser for the Upper Valley Haven. As usual, I take pride in going above and beyond the $500 minimum fundraising amount and look forward to raising at least $1,500 for this local organization once again. The mission of the Upper Vally Haven is to assist those who are experiencing poverty to be free from hunger, securely housed, and to pursue a self-directed life. The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services. It serves over 14,500 people per year.
