Hi all,

I'll be running the Potter's 'Arf marathon on Sunday 11th June. This is a personal challenge I've set myself, as any hope of being physically fit vanished when I became a Dad! I thought it would be a good opportunity to raise money towards something my family and I have struggled with over the past 7 years around the time I began having seizures and got diagnosed with epilepsy. The charity I have chosen to donate any funds to is Young Epilepsy.

Without you, we wouldn't be able to support children and young people across the UK, both from our specialist education, St Piers School and College, in Surrey and in communities around the country through our outreach programmes, Connect and Transitions. With your help we support children and young people, as well as their families, from the point of diagnosis through to transitioning into adulthood. Our helpline provides a lifeline to families and our resources help them to better understand and manage epilepsy.
