Every day, the North West Air Ambulance Charity's helicopters and critical care vehicles soar through the skies, ready to respond to emergencies across a vast area of 5,500 square miles, serving over 8 million people. These highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics provide essential pre-hospital care to those in dire need. Since its inception in 1999, the charity has been called to over 45,000 missions—an average of seven times a day—saving countless lives in our community.

However, this incredible service does not come without a cost. The North West Air Ambulance Charity is not part of the NHS and receives no government funding. It relies entirely on the generosity of individuals and corporate partners who believe in its mission. To continue saving lives, the charity must raise over £18 million every year.

This year, I am participating in the Liverpool Half Marathon on March 23rd, 2025, to help support this vital cause. My goal is to raise £500 for the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
