Story

As a member of "Team Head and Neck", I am excited to share that I am participating in the London Marathon on April 27, 2025, to raise vital funds for the University College London Hospitals Head and Neck Cancer Charity.

Head and neck cancer is a complex group of cancers that significantly impacts patients' ability to eat, drink, swallow, and speak.

We are deeply grateful for the incredible teams of surgeons, dietitians, clinical nurse specialists, speech and language therapists, oncologists, and ward staff who dedicate their lives to caring for these patients.

My goal is to raise £1,000 to support these professionals in accessing opportunities for further education and research. This ensures that we continue providing the best possible care for our patients during their challenging treatment journey.

This year marks our second year of fundraising as we celebrate 20 years of the UCLH head and neck unit. We are optimistic about building on the world-class service we provide to our patients. Together, we can make a difference during what is an extremely challenging time for them. We invite you to join us in this mission by supporting our cause with your generous contributions.
