Story
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
My Aunt Mary and Lucy's great Aunty was cared for by the staff at Wheatfield Hospice. Sadly, Mary passed away recently from Pancreatic Cancer. We had already planned to climb Ben Nevis and Lucy decided it would be great way to remember Mary by raising some money for the hospice that cared for her. We have already climbed Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and Scarfell leaving Ben Nevis to climb. We will now do so in memory of Mary and hopefully raise some money for Wheatfield Hospice and the wonderful work they do in caring for people reaching the end of their life and suffering with grief.
